This sharply critical Vancouver Sun review covers T. Rex at Vancouver's Pacific Coliseum during the group's 1974 North American tour. Writer Don Stanley combines a retrospective look at Marc Bolan's rise from Mark Feld to international stardom with an unsparing assessment of the concert itself, describing a difficult audience response, compromised sound and a performance that failed to recreate the excitement associated with T. Rex's earlier success. Publication: The Vancouve
