Get It On ’87 entered the BBC UK Singles Chart on 9 May 1987, peaking at number 54 and spending four weeks on the chart. Released by Marc On Wax, the single was part of a mid‑1980s programme of T. Rex reissues and remixes.

A 1985 remix of the classic track, “Sunken Rags” was reissued as part of the ongoing Marc Bolan & T. Rex archival series.
