THE STORY 

Released on January 17, 1969 on Regal Zonophone (RZ 3016), “Pewter Suitor” / “War Lord Of The Royal Crocodiles” was a non-album single by Tyrannosaurus Rex. Recorded during the sessions for their early work, the tracks reflect the duo’s whimsical, poetic folk-rock style. The single did not chart significantly but remains a collectible piece from their pre-T. Rex era.
