Live 1977 is a live archive collection documenting some of the final concert performances by Marc Bolan and T. Rex. First released in 1997, the album compiles recordings from the band's March 1977 UK tour together with additional material drawn from an earlier American performance recorded in 1974. The collection captures T. Rex during a remarkable late-career revival, showcasing the strength of the band's final live line-up and preserving performances from the closing months
