T. Rex (October 17, 2026) – Futuristic Dragon Zoetrope Album

Futuristic Dragon marked Marc Bolan’s creative resurgence, blending cosmic soul and post‑glitter Britrock into a late‑period T. Rex classic. By the time Bolan and his newly honed band recorded the album, his songwriting had regained its mystical swagger — a bubbling mix of rhythm, fantasy, and introspection.

To celebrate the 50th anniversary and National Album Day’s “Icons” theme, Demon Records issued a limited‑edition Zoetrope picture disc.
The design animates when spun under strobe light, echoing Bolan’s fascination with motion and myth.
The release highlights Bolan’s renewed energy, from the grinding post‑glam boogie of Jupiter Liar and the poetic swoon of Chrome Sitar to the seductive R&B pulse of Ride My Wheels.
