THE BIRTH OF GLAM ROCK
Marc Bolan ignited the Glam Rock revolution when he performed “Hot Love” on Top of the Pops in 1971, famously appearing with glitter beneath his eyes and changing the face of rock ‘n’ roll forever
STARS ON THEIR BROWS
The mystical folk-psych era. With Steve Peregrin Took, Marc created a unique woodland sound — acoustic bongos, poetic lyrics, and pure enchantment. From My People Were Fair… to A Beard of Stars.

In 1967 Marc joined the wild mod band John’s Children. Explosive gigs, banned singles like “Desdemona”, and the psychedelic masterpiece “Midsummer Night’s Scene” — pure chaotic energy.
